Why work with us

Your Safest Pair of Hands in the AI Era

AI isn’t just another technology project. It impacts your data, security, governance and business processes.

That’s why the organisations best placed to lead your AI journey are Managed Service Providers who have successfully evolved into Managed AI Providers — combining deep knowledge of your IT environment with the expertise to deploy AI securely, strategically and at scale.

What is a Managed AI Provider?

A Managed AI Provider combines traditional expertise in IT, security, cloud and data with the capability to identify, deploy, govern and manage AI across your business.

Unlike a standalone AI project, they consider how AI fits into your entire technology environment — from the systems it connects to and the data it accesses, to the identities, permissions and security controls that govern it.

System Connectivity

Managed providers understand how your diverse systems are interconnected and integrated.

Data Residency

They know where your sensitive data resides and how it is protected within your infrastructure.

Identity & Access Controls

Expertise in managing identity and access ensures AI respects established permissions.

Secure Deployment

They possess the deep operational knowledge to deploy new AI technologies securely and effectively.

This unique position enables them to help organisations adopt AI safely, strategically, and at scale.

Behind this AI & Automation Hub is Resolve — an award-winning Sheffield-based managed IT, cyber security and AI services provider that has been helping businesses work securely and productively since 2004.

We’re not new to helping businesses navigate technology change. For over 20 years, we’ve supported organisations across Sheffield, South Yorkshire and beyond, from growing SMEs to established businesses and charities.

And now we’re helping those businesses take their next step with AI.

Our approach combines the IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 expertise, cyber security and compliance knowledge we’ve built over two decades with practical AI adoption, training and consultancy.

We believe successful AI adoption is about more than giving people access to new technology. It’s about making sure your systems are ready, your data is secure, your people know how to use AI and your business can measure the results.

That’s why we’ve developed our six-week AI Kickstarter, bringing together AI discovery, readiness assessments, Microsoft 365 security preparation, hands-on Copilot training and a practical roadmap for future AI adoption.

And before taking it to our customers, we put our own business through the programme first.

Eight Resolve employees from different departments identified 25.6 hours of combined weekly time savings after just three weeks. One month after the programme finished, all eight participants were using Copilot daily, with combined reported savings reaching approximately 60 hours per week.

We believe in testing technology ourselves, understanding what works and using that experience to help our customers make informed decisions.

That expertise is particularly relevant to AI adoption, where organisations need to understand how information is stored, accessed and protected before introducing tools that can work across business data.

Our AI Kickstarter includes technical readiness and security preparation so businesses can begin adopting AI with the right foundations in place.

A Six-Week AI Kickstarter Built Around Secure Adoption

Our six-week AI Kickstarter is designed to help businesses move from experimenting with AI to using it confidently and consistently.

The programme combines:

  • AI discovery and readiness assessment.
  • Microsoft 365 security and data preparation.
  • Microsoft Copilot training and practical exercises.
  • Pilot group support and adoption planning.
  • Measurement of productivity improvements.
  • A roadmap for future AI adoption.

We look beyond the technology itself to consider your people, processes, data and business objectives.

The aim is to help your organisation build the confidence, skills and foundations needed to make AI part of everyday working life.

We’ve Tested AI in Our Own Business — With Measurable Results

Before launching our AI Kickstarter to customers, we became Customer Zero.

We selected eight employees from different areas of Resolve, with varying levels of technical knowledge and AI experience, and put them through the programme.

We began by assessing our Microsoft 365 environment, including permissions, data access, sensitivity labels and data protection controls.

We then helped participants identify everyday tasks where Copilot could save time, measuring how long those tasks took before and after using AI.

The results were significant:

25.6 hours saved per week
across eight employees after three weeks, based on a small number of repeatable tasks.

A month after completing the programme, 100% of participants were using Copilot every day, with combined weekly time savings reaching approximately 60 hours.

These are results from our own team, not hypothetical calculations.

They demonstrate what can happen when AI adoption combines the right technology, practical training, security preparation and measurable business outcomes.

Award-Winning, Five-Star Customer Service

Technology is only as valuable as the support behind it.

Resolve has received four customer service awards over its history and has a five-star Google rating supported by more than 400 reviews.

We regularly ask customers to rate the service they receive, publishing the results through our Customer Happiness Reports.

Our customers describe us as knowledgeable, approachable, professional and responsive.

We bring that same customer-focused approach to AI, helping businesses understand their options without unnecessary jargon or pressure to adopt technology they don’t need.

From AI Adoption to Automation & AI Agents

Getting started with Microsoft Copilot is an important step, but it’s only part of the wider AI opportunity.

Through our AI Kickstarter, we help businesses develop the skills and confidence to use AI in everyday tasks while identifying opportunities for future automation and AI agents.

Our focus is on helping you understand where AI can make a measurable difference, prepare your organisation for adoption and develop a practical plan for what comes next.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore AI or looking to build on what your team is already doing, Resolve combines proven IT expertise, security credentials and hands-on AI adoption experience to help you move forward.

Secure foundations. Confident people. Measurable AI results.

AI Governance & Security

Artificial intelligence is transforming how organisations work. Tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and AI agents are already automating tasks ranging from document summarisation to data analysis and workflow automation.

However, many organisations are adopting AI without the necessary governance, security and compliance foundations in place.

Employees may unknowingly upload sensitive data, bypass existing security controls or use AI tools that operate outside the organisation’s security environment.

This raises a critical question:

How can organisations harness the power of AI while protecting their data, systems and reputation?

The answer lies in strong AI governance, security and responsible deployment.

Why AI Governance Matters

AI has enormous potential to improve productivity, accelerate decision-making and unlock new operational efficiencies.

But deploying AI without the right governance framework can introduce significant risks across the organisation.

Uncontrolled Data Access

Sensitive information may be exposed if AI systems retrieve data without appropriate permissions.

Data Leakage

Employees may unintentionally share confidential information with external AI tools.

Compliance Exposure

Unregulated AI usage may create legal or regulatory risks.

Unreliable AI Outputs

AI systems can generate inaccurate or misleading results without proper validation.

Security Vulnerabilities

New AI systems introduce additional attack surfaces that must be secured.

Loss of Trust

Poorly governed AI usage can damage stakeholder confidence and organisational reputation.

Before organisations scale AI across their business, these risks must be addressed.

The Foundations of Secure AI

Successful AI adoption relies on clear governance and robust security controls.

Establishing the following foundations allows organisations to deploy AI safely and scale responsibly.

1

Data Governance

Organisations must understand where their data resides and how it is classified. AI systems should only interact with governed and protected data sources.

2

Identity & Access Control

AI must operate within existing identity frameworks, ensuring that information access respects established permissions.

3

Security & Compliance

AI deployments should align with cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory obligations and internal compliance policies.

4

Responsible AI Policies

Clear internal policies define which AI tools are approved, how data can be used and where human oversight is required.

5

Monitoring & Oversight

AI activity should be continuously monitored through logging, governance reporting and policy enforcement.

AI governance is an ongoing capability, not a one-time exercise.

The 7 Biggest AI Security Risks Organisations Face

As AI adoption accelerates, new security and governance challenges are emerging.

Understanding these risks helps organisations adopt AI safely.

Shadow AI

Employees are using AI tools outside IT oversight, potentially uploading sensitive documents or analysing data with external services. This widespread practice can expose confidential information without proper governance.

Data Leakage Through AI Prompts

Many users inadvertently paste sensitive data into AI tools when asking questions. Research indicates that 77% of employees admit to sharing confidential financial data, contracts, or customer information, leading to significant exposure risks.

AI-Powered Phishing Attacks

Cybercriminals leverage AI to generate highly convincing phishing emails and impersonation attempts. This dramatically lowers the barrier for creating sophisticated scams, underscoring the need for strong identity security and employee awareness.

Prompt Injection Attacks

Malicious actors attempt to manipulate AI systems into revealing confidential information or bypassing safeguards. As organisations deploy AI agents and automated workflows, this becomes a growing concern for data integrity and system security.

AI Agents Acting Beyond Their Permissions

AI agents can retrieve data and perform tasks across various systems. Without robust identity controls, they might gain unintended access to sensitive information, making identity-first security essential for AI deployments.

Lack of AI Governance Policies

Organisations are rapidly adopting AI tools without implementing adequate governance policies. This absence of frameworks leads to uncontrolled AI usage across departments, increasing overall risk exposure.

Expanding Cyber Attack Surface

AI introduces new technical components, including models, APIs, and automation workflows. Each component expands the potential attack surface, requiring security teams to ensure these systems are rigorously governed and monitored.

Human Oversight Remains Essential

Even advanced AI systems should operate with appropriate human oversight.

AI should augment human decision-making rather than replace it.

Augmented Decision-Making

AI supports intelligent decision-making, complementing human judgment rather than replacing it. This synergy ensures informed, nuanced outcomes.

Ensured Accountability

Critical actions and outputs from AI systems remain accountable to human decision-makers, preventing unforeseen consequences and fostering trust.

Maintained Control

Organisations retain ultimate control over their AI systems, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and enabling swift intervention when necessary.

Responsible AI adoption always keeps people at the centre of the process, ensuring technology serves human values and organisational goals.

Governance First. Then Scale.

Organisations that successfully integrate AI follow a clear, strategic path. This journey prioritises foundational elements before scaling, ensuring responsible and secure adoption.

Governance & Security

Set policies, risk controls, and compliance

Productivity Tools

Introduce AI assistants and collaboration aids

Identify Automation

Map processes suitable for automation

Deploy AI Agents

Implement agents for targeted workflows

Scale Capabilities

Expand models, monitoring, and governance

By focusing on strong governance and security from the outset, organisations can confidently navigate their AI transformation, mitigate risks, and unlock significant value.
